NOTICE OF NOMINATION MEETING

Notice of a Nomination meeting will be held at the CHACACHAS GOVERNANCE OFFICE on APRIL 13, 2024, starting at 1:00 o’clock PM to 5 o’clock PM. for the purpose of nominating candidates for the position of Okimawkan and Headman/Headwoman. There are four (4) Headman/Headwoman positions and one (1) position for Okimawkan.

Please note that Electors may nominate candidates by using the on-line process prior to nomination day OR you may nominate candidates orally at the nomination meeting. On–line nominations must be received by the Electoral Officer prior to the start of the nomination meeting.

Eligibility to be nominated is outlined in Section 9, of the Chacachas Treaty Nation Election Act.
